Today, the acupuncture vision from last Wednesday came to mind strongly. Here it is. Acupuncture: The scene began with a large filmy screen on the stage. On it was a large blue circle. As I watched, a second circle formed behind it with a bit of edge showing. This process then continued adding more circles and then the image was stood up and it was a solid blue column. This sequence was then repeated with various geometric figures. Then I heard a voice, though no one was present. It “lectured” me about the significance of the “spaces” in the column, hat after a point, our perception fails to perceive reality. Then it demonstrated how the spaces were also true in music and in language and in most everything. I was told I must become more aware of this “unseen” reality in all that I do. Things are not as they appear to be.

The influence we have is always unknown. That arrow of our own heart flies across the chasm, which may come from our bow, but we have no idea where our influence penetrates. H.G. Baynes said it was like being penetrated by Eros. I am pretty sure he was right. Yet our influence upon someone is set in equal ground by what returns. Often a surprise. Maybe always a surprise is more accurate. Thanks for this.
Hi Russ, I really resonate with the instruction you’ve been given here. I’ve been receiving something that may be similar, but from a different angle. One of my responses is the following little poem:
To know what knowledge does and doesn’t do,
To know that knowing this may not be true
Or maybe true, whatever true may be,
What words may capture truth may yet set free
Leaving nothing to which one might cling.
Still, something knows and there is no such thing.
Warmly,
Mike
