The Parliament of Owls is in session
\nBut we cannot see their eyes
\nTheir heads are looking behind them
\nBecause owls do not move their eyes<\/p>\n

What’s coming comes from behind
\nIt’s not what is clearly seen, so visible now
\nIt’s the sickness afoot, the sickness coming
\nThat’s what the owls are looking for now<\/p>\n

Sickness is afoot, evil’s in full view
\nSickness is afoot, where is our guide?
\nSickness is afoot, what to do? What to do?
\nSickness is afoot, where resides the guide?<\/p>\n

Leonard wrote that magic is afoot
\nAnd Buffy sang his words
\nLeonard wrote that God is alive
\nAnd Buffy sang is words<\/p>\n

But now, sickness is afoot,
\nAnd evil is alive, and where is our guide?
\nSing the song that’s in your dream

In the dream I saw owls sitting on branches of a tree.
\nNo eyes could be seen as they were all looking behind
\nthem. A sound began to rise, I think it was from the owls,
\nsinging the line, “Sickness is afoot.” As I woke, I started
\nhearing Buffy St. Marie singing Leonard Cohen’s words
\nfrom his book, “Beautiful Losers.”<\/p>\n

Dreams have to do with the future. Our conscious intentions
\nas well as our hopes are all formed from what we know,
\nfrom what is past. The owls know what is coming. Look to
