My work study job required me to participate in the USC Computer Lab. There were a number of people there from the Rand Corporation working with the new Honeywell computer system. At lunch time, a common topic of conversation was AI. I recall at one point along the way, I asked one of the engineers about AI and what was important about it. His answer surprised me a bit, but I never forgot it. Hs answer was,<strong> &#8220;Never ignore it.&#8221; <\/strong>I believe this is truer today and more so than we can imagine.
