Intelligence cannot solve this problem because ignorance serves as a basis for belief and is therefore immune to the corrective powers of reason and rationality. Ignorance as a form of belief disables one from various forms of awareness. Ignorance is thus susceptible to the \u201cthreat and unintended consequences\u201d of what it does not experience or what is denied, devalued, and diminished. Ignorance carries a potentially devastating risk, a risk that will always set enantiodromia in motion.
