THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
October 8, 2025
—————————-
In my acupuncture vision today, Orogine and Tonarius sat with me in the audience chairs. She asked me if I was aware of doing writing as I had never done before. I told her I was aware of the feeling, but nothing more as yet. She then said that surface dreams do not take long to assemble, but dreams from the depths can take a long while to assemble. I asked who was doing the assembly. She told me that this was not for me to know, but I would know when the dream was complete, I would recognize it. She said that Tonarius would help me with the new writing. As I came out of the vision, I realized I had never thought of a dream being “assembled.” That was a new idea, and one I am reflecting on.
Comments or questions are always appreciated.

The idea of a dream being assembled has come to me in a different but not dissimilar way. I find myself with analysands explaining the way dreams come to the surface.
I do not know why I think of this, but I think of a pool in the woods, a rather deep pool. I have a sort of button hook with a sharp point at the end. The hook is tied yo s very long string, I lower the hook into the water and drop it to the bottom, swirling it all around in what I already know are countless symbols which represent the archetypes. The end of the hook captures or snags or collects endless images of the deep psyche, which are collected on the hook. And as I raise the hook upwards through the water, the images from the personal psyche are also snagged and all these images are brought to the surface for me to see. A bit like sandplay only less deliberate in choosing the images.
Only not deliberate.
